My son is 33 years old and has a long history of drug addiction and depression. He does not live with me and has until recently been working but has now lost his job. He comes to visit occasionally and I find this very stressful as he often wants money or he has no food. This situation has been very very stressful for me over a long period of time and he has often talked about suicide. Nothing I say or suggest is listened to and my son's situation just seems to remain the same. I do feel alone as this is not something I feel I could talk to anyone about as I feel ashamed.
